How does Private Pilot training work?
The training for a Private Pilot License requires:
This course covers the ground training, provides the endorsement to take the written test, and covers all information to pass the written test and oral portion of the checkride!
- Log the required Flight Training with an instructor

- Pass a "checkride" which is a test that has an Oral portion, and a Flight Portion.

How do I obtain my Private Pilot License?
To obtain our Private Pilot Certificate, we must meet the requirements listed in the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 61.103 or Part 141 Appendix B. In short, these are:
- 17 years old to take the practical test (Although we may solo at 16 years old with a student pilot license, we may receive flight training at any age!)
- Read, speak, write, and understand English
- Receive an endorsement from an instructor that reviewed the home study, or provided the ground training. (This endorsement is provided, and allows you to take the "written," knowledge test. This course is considered home study!)
- Pass Private FAA Knowledge test
- Receive and log flight training, and the required logbook endorsements from a CFI
- Have a valid Medical Certificate
- Pass the Practical Test (Checkride)
